Sex as Sanctuary
Is it possible that one’s sex life/sexual self can be a sanctuary?
This series of offerings is intended to explore the possibility of creating and realizing sex as a sanctuary in our lives.
What are the conditions and qualities, experiences and expectations that lead to the creation and sustenance of a sexual expression that provides sanctuary for one’s psyche and spirit?
Is it a self-created, transitory phenomenon or an indwelling of a type of consciousness that endures?
What part of the past hinders forward movement toward this desired state?
What is possible once one enters “sex as sanctuary?”
Can one share this sanctuary?
With whom?
Where does this sanctuary dwell? The imagination? The heart? The body? The groin?
“The erotic is the nurturer and the nursemaid of all our deepest knowledge.”
–Audrey Lorde

Together: Three Gay Men
Sex as Sanctuary is first and foremost, an expression of love between three dear friends and magically erotic playmates. This multi-year project takes shape as our own Guild of the Sacred Erotic Arts.
What We Are Offering
Erotic Heart Circles
6-week Inquiry
A Year and a Day
Facilitated heart circles on the theme “What is Sex as Sanctuary?” The various erotic and sexual definitions of sanctuary let us explore as a group, finding both commonalities and individual insight. Facilitation helps us take the next step without being prescriptive.
Slow down with heart-centered listening.
The 6-week intensive is a communal exploration using the rhythms of nature as a template for examining how we engage erotically alone and with others. Weekly facilitated, erotic-themed activities will uncover how we reshape our erotic spaces into sanctuaries.
After an initial gatekeeping process, fifteen men will dedicate ourselves to a full year and a day mutual initiation where we will co-devise ritual practices in the sacred art of sex magick.

Rosie Delicious
Robin helps people move more freely in the harness of their experiences.
Over the past twenty years, whether in gay men’s health or one on one counselling, he has helped queerfolk navigate between personal and social patterns where our challenges, capacities, and contributions are more authentically acknowledged and supported.
Keystone uses inquiry to explore and discover individual truth.
Engaging with Keystone is a process of uncovering old truths, discovering new truths, and clarifying one’s definition of oneself.

–William Shakespeare
Rosie wonders whether your story about yourself is actually true
One-on-ones with Rosie would focus on “Untying the Knot that Binds” by applying “all meaning is applied” to the stories we carry from past erotic experiences and the meanings we’ve attached to those encounters.
